FPT Smart Cloud is hiring a Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure powering mission-critical applications. You’ll collaborate with development and operations teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on both public and private cloud environments—driving innovation at the heart of Vietnam’s digital transformation.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain FPT Cloud products and services, including internal cloud systems, virtualization platforms, and physical server infrastructure.
• Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines and supporting services across VMware and private cloud environments.
• Design and operate system monitoring and alerting tools to ensure performance, availability, and reliability.
• Consult and support enterprise customers using FPT Cloud services; analyze and troubleshoot service issues.
• Design and integrate new solutions into the cloud ecosystem (monitoring, logging, HA, load balancing, backup, etc.).
• Automate routine operational tasks using scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python) and tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Collaborate with other technical teams (network, security, dev) to ensure seamless cloud service delivery.
• Document standard operating procedures, incident reports, and system architecture.
  
  

Job Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Cloud, System Administration, or IT Infrastructure roles.
• Strong knowledge in deploying and managing Linux & Windows Server environments.
• Experience with VMware solutions (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi…).
• Familiarity with server hardware platforms and enterprise storage technologies (iSCSI, FC, FCoE).
• Understanding of core infrastructure services: DNS, DHCP, NTP, Firewall, Load Balancer.
• Hands-on experience with system monitoring and logging tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
• Experience in automation or scripting for system administration (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.).
