【Job description (details)】
■Import Operations Management
- Oversee and execute import procedures including customs declarations and tax-related activities.
- Coordinate quality checks and inspections for imported goods and resolve any issues that arise.
■Supplier Coordination
- Communicate with international suppliers to manage order details, delivery schedules, and any issues.
- Address supplier inquiries and provide necessary information.
■Logistics and Shipping Management
- Manage logistics for imported goods, including transportation arrangements, customs procedures, and warehousing.
- Coordinate with shipping companies and forwarders to ensure timely delivery.
■Documentation Management
- Handle import-related documents such as invoices, import permits, and bills of lading.
- Prepare and submit required documents and maintain accurate records.
■Regulatory Compliance
- Understand and comply with import regulations and laws.
- Perform compliance checks to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
■Data and Reporting
- Manage import-related data and generate reports as needed.
- Maintain records related to expenses and budgets, and perform financial analysis.
■Troubleshooting
- Address and resolve issues related to imports, such as delays or quality problems.
- Develop and implement action plans to address and resolve import-related problems.
- Other tasks assigned by Japanese Manager
