Currently, we are seeking an experienced Laundry Attendant to join Park Hyatt Saigon to join and continue with us in our significant journey.

Main Duties

Customer Service

Provides a courteous and professional service at all times.

Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst providing a prompt follow-up.

Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.

Operational

Embraces all Touches of Hyatt and the Rooms Top 20.

Responds within three minutes after being paged and immediately proceeds to room to collect laundry

parcels from the floor pantry, Front Office or Concierge.

Valet

At 11am daily, Valet must proceed to all guest floor pantries to collect laundry parcel that has been

collected from guest rooms by Butler or Housekeeping Attendant.

Proceeds to the relevant floor pantry immediately that have requested for urgent service first e.g. express service, pressing.

Ensures all urgent service parcels are ragged with a red tag marked “EXPRESS”.

Ensures all valet trolleys are polished and clean before proceeding delivery time.

Ensures standard procedures in hanging and no over loading of processed garments on trolleys.

Ensures all laundered garments are arranged according to floor on trolley for easy location and fast delivery.

Coordinate with Butler to ensure all urgent services are delivered back to room on the specified timing.

Ensures all collections and deliveries are recorded in valets checklist.

Verifies all collections and deliveries with valet’s checklist, against sorter’s checklist at the end of each

shift. This is to ensure that all collections and deliveries are accounted for.

Communicates on a daily basis operational matters with peers and supervisors.
