Participate in site surveys with the design and project management teams during the pre-construction phase; propose design solutions and construction methods.

Extract material quantities from basic design drawings.

Based on material quantities, contract terms, market conditions, and actual site conditions, recommend appropriate material types for the project.

Prepare the overall cost estimation for the project.

Control costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure budget compliance.

Coordinate with the site management team to inspect and verify additional material quantities incurred during construction, and update final accounts upon project completion.

Collaborate with Procurement and the Project Manager to control quantities and contract values of signed packages.

Develop and maintain a database of materials, unit prices, specifications, and types; regularly update changes in materials, technology, pricing, and market availability.

Monitor project implementation in terms of budget and quantities based on the approved cost estimate.

Prepare final project reports upon completion.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Director (PD).

Bachelor's degree in Construction Economics, Cost Estimation, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor (QS) role, preferably with technical expertise in Solar System Design.

Solid understanding of construction codes, government cost norms, and pricing regulations.

Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVSyst, Helioscope, or equivalent software.

Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Friendly, approachable, and quick in building rapport and professional relationships.
