Measures Of Success

In three months:

• Developed your understanding of GroupM’s businesses in the local market.
• Understood P&L structures, reporting requirements, WPP accounting policies, commercial requirements and contractual requirements.
• Learn the various systems and applications and how they are integrated into the business.
• Build relationships with the key stakeholders across the group.

• Identified key areas and opportunities for improvement and growth
• Worked independently
• Started to drive process improvements and delivering meaningful financial analysis in support of the company's strategic planning process
  
  

In 12 Months

• Delivered the improvements that have resulted in cost savings and streamlined workflows
• Contributed to the commercial aspects of our business

Responsibilities of the role:

• Manage accounting entry posting: ensure data posting is accurate & timely.
• Analyze Financial information: analyze and interpret financial information to ensure that information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
• Monthly - Quarterly - Yearly closing:
• BS management: breakdown, reconcile and quality comments for pending/ aging items and propose actions plan to clear it timely and compliance per ICFR and group guidance;
• Perform account analysis to make sure that entries and balances are correct (accrual, reclass, interco, FX posting….);
• Manage to close at monthly, quarterly and year-end timely & accurately (trial balance checking & management before book close)
• Audit supporting
  

Tax

• Monthly - Quarterly - Yearly Tax declaration & reconciliation
• Preparation before Tax inspection
  
  

Others

• Intercompany reporting
• Vendor master data
• Be Finance Biz partner with other departments/ functions
  
  

Join us if you are

• 3 years experience in Finance as a general accountant and tax knowledge.
• ICFR and VAS knowledge and experiences.
• CPA/ ACCA is a plus.
• SOX understanding is a must/advantage.
