The PayCore Central Recon Platform team at Grab focuses on building a reliable platform to address challenging problems in the Payments Reconciliation domain. We are a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers who innovate and collaborate to solve one of the most challenging problems at PayCore – enabling accurate and scalable reconciliation with many financial partners.

Be the reliable backbone in Grab’s Payments ecosystem to drive economic empowerment across Southeast Asia for all our customers and merchant partners. As part of Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading super app, we provide financial enablement to our users in addition to ride-hailing and food delivery services.
Get to Know the Role
Your primary area of responsibility will be to develop and maintain internal tools that facilitate aspects of the payment reconciliation workflows with optimized user experience for our stakeholders to make greater impacts.
The Critical Tasks You will Perform
- 70% Frontend - 30% Backend
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality and scalable software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to solve challenging problems in the fintech domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction of projects.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the reliability and availability of our services.
- Provide support to the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps teams for smooth deployment and operation of systems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers or interns, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures with the ability to recognize appropriate use cases.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript libraries and tools, such as React.js, especially React hooks, and DOM manipulation.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Good understanding of backend development, API development, SQL and NoSQL databases, caching techniques, and queueing frameworks.
- Capability to write extensible code for complex projects adhering to SOLID principles.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
- Demonstrated expertise in writing clean, efficient, maintainable code and documentation.
- 1+ years of experience in a lead role in a sizable team.
- Expertise in JavaScript, especially React.js.
- Capability to take on backend development tasks if needed.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Additional hands-on experience in any of the following areas is preferred:
- Backend development
- Cloud infrastructure (e.g., Terraform) and DevOps
- Data engineering
- Interest or experience in the payments domain with a quick learning ability.

Lịch sử thành lập
- 07/2013: Khai trương cửa hàng đầu tiên tại Saigon Sky Garden (20 Lê Thánh Tôn, TP HCM) sau khi đã tái cơ cấu.
- 02/2014: Cửa hàng đầu tiên tại Bình Dương được khai trương tại Ký túc xá, khu B, Đại học Quốc gia Việt Nam.
- 06/2016: Đi vào hoạt động cửa hàng FamilyMart đầu tiên tại Vũng Tàu, thời điểm này số lượng các cửa hàng của FamilyMart đạt mốc 100 cửa hàng.
- 01.2019: FamilyMart Việt Nam vinh dự được nhận giải thưởng “Dịch vụ được yêu thích nhất (Most Favorite Service)” do độc giả của cẩm nang Kilala – Cẩm nang về văn hóa, du lịch Nhật Bản dành cho người Việt – bình chọn.
