Your role

The Event & Exhibition Coordinator for the 2025 Digital Media 10-Year Initiative will oversee and coordinate all facets of the external event planning and execution. This role entails managing various activities over several weeks to align with RMIT Vietnam’s procedures. The position demands exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills to ensure the successful delivery of the 2025 Digital Media 10-Year initiative.

Reports to Program Manager, Digital Media

Key Accountabilities

• Support the managing, planning and coordination of the 2025 Digital Media initiative.
• Coordinate effective communication and collaboration, providing an interface between the RMIT Vietnam’s SCD and the event venue.
• Oversee the production of material such as photos, videos, graphic designs for event design purposes.
• Assist in solving issues relating to budgets, logistics, compliance, etc.
• Collaborate with the SCD Digital Communication, Events & Exhibitions staff, RMIT Marketing team to conduct quality assurance to ensure high-impact and professionalism.
• Liaise and coordinate with the University’s operations and engagement related departments with regards to SCD events and exhibitions.
• Undertake other duties as required by the line manager.
  
  

Key Selection Criteria

• Demonstrated experience and expertise in managing sophisticated events and projects from start to finish.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including negotiation, liaison, and cross-cultural communication.
• Outstanding time management and meticulous organization skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and respond to multiple changing priorities while demonstrating sound judgment and exercising prudent decision making.
• Significant expertise and experience in the coordination of people and projects, and excellent management skills including the ability to plan and manage activities, to provide advice and to prioritise, monitor and evaluate work performance and flow.
• Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position and RMIT Values.

• Expected duration: 02 months
• Hourly salary: Competitive Net package of up to VND 81,000/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Workload: 40 hours per week
• Location: HCMC
• Accident Insurance 24/7

English Proficiency

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS General 6.0 (or equivalent Linguaskill 160).
