YOUR JOBS:

Research:

• Conduct comprehensive research on emerging trends, technologies, and materials in the furniture industry

Development of Processes and Materials

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to conceptualize and prototype new furniture designs, considering factors such as ergonomics, durability, and sustainability.
• Experiment with various materials, including paper, sustainable materials, and composites, to identify optimal combinations for specific applications.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Sustainability and Environmental Considerations:

• Integrate sustainability principles and environmental responsibility into the R&D process, exploring eco-friendly materials, processes, and designs.
• Identify opportunities to minimize environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle, from sourcing to disposal/recycling.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate closely with suppliers, vendors, and external partners to source materials, technologies, and expertise
• Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to cross-functional teams, management, and stakeholders through reports, presentations, and meetings.
• Work closely with the Design team and product team to find out the best solution to apply new material
• Work closely with the Production team to find out which area is waste of labor & materials
