We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Tax and Compliance Manager to join our team and take charge of all tax-related and compliance matters for the Nuts Business across different entities and branches in Vietnam.

As the Tax and Compliance Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and maintaining effective communication with tax, customs, and licensing authorities.

This position will primarily focus on managing Corporate Income Tax, Value Added Tax (with emphasis on input VAT credit and VAT refund for exported goods), Foreign Contractor Tax, Customs Duties, and other related taxes. Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is considered a plus for this role.

Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance: Ensure the accurate and timely preparation, filing, and submission of all tax-related documents for the Nuts Business across entities and branches in Vietnam.

Tax Planning: Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to optimize the tax position of the Nuts Business while ensuring adherence to local tax laws and regulations.

Input VAT Credit and VAT Refund: Oversee the process of input VAT credit and VAT refund for exported goods to maximize cash flow and tax benefits for the Nuts Business.

Foreign Contractor Tax: Manage all matters related to Foreign Contractor Tax, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Communication with Authorities: Act as the key liaison with tax, customs, and licensing authorities, engaging in frequent communication to address tax-related queries and requirements.

Customs Duties and Other Taxes: Ensure compliance of customs duties and other relevant taxes for the Nuts Business.

Tax Advisory: Provide expert tax advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on business transactions and projects to ensure tax efficiency and compliance.

Tax Audits: Coordinate and manage tax audits, assisting with documentation and information requests as needed.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and customs duties in Vietnam, and implement necessary actions to maintain compliance.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential tax risks and exposures related to the Nuts Business operations.

Collaboration: Work closely with the finance and accounting teams across the country to integrate tax strategies with overall business processes effectively.

Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for internal teams to enhance tax awareness and ensure adherence to tax guidelines and policies.
