Mô tả Công việc

- Perform & manage design activities for Home Department, leading the PD agenda and educating the whole team for effective costing.

- Review and implement all PD projects required by Clients & internal Customers. Articulate Customer standards & guidelines to design suitable & production-friendly products.

- Work closely with factories and merchandisers/PDM from sketches, CAD, product ideas, inspirations, prototypes, etc. to Final Production Products.

- Guide Factories/QC for quality & product construction, KD solution. Manage selected suppliers to construct samples to agreed construction and finish requirements.

- Understanding manufacturing reality in industrialized & hand-made products and articulate well to PD.

- Create collections, catalogs for new seasons as well as Home presentations

- Establish and track sample approval rate and constantly work on improving them

- Effective communication with teams in Asia and US Sales

- Resolve technical issues inside clients and select factories in a timely manner.

- Participation in customers’ sourcing/product development trip and meeting.

- Perform other assignments by Line Manager.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

- From 2 -> 3 years Industrial designer for US/Europe Market in furniture, home decorations & seasonal, preferably in trading companies.

- Fluent in English (Mandarin is a plus)

- Good proficiency in 3D modelling software’s: Sketchup/AutoCAD/Illustrator and Photoshop. Attention to details, careful & accuracy.

- Strong product and material knowledge with good product safety requirements

- Experiences of the manufacturing reality in industrialized & hand-made products

- Experiences product standards & test protocols for US, UK, Europe, Japan, Australia & Middle East.

- Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded, willing to travel on business trip (local & international)

- Education required: University/college graduate. (Min. 2 years of equivalent role)

- Good communication & negotiation skills, team group co-operation and high sense of responsibility.

- Being a team player, energetic, well organized, and able to work under pressure as well as participate in challenging duties.

- Problem solving, flexible, quick adaptive, growth mindset. Service oriented with attention to details.
