• Assists the Director of Sales to ensure good communication within the department, with other resort departments and between the resort and the market.
• Supports the department in maintaining good follow-up on all tasks by the deadline.
• Coordinates with departments and individuals concerned in preparation and submission of reports as required.
• Assists the Director of Sales in control and maximization of departmental resources.
• Achieve individual and team goals within assigned tasks

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Co-ordinates and arrange activities accorded by the Director of Sales.
• Arrange appointments and meetings with customers and other departments as directed by the Director of Sales and prepares the appropriate material for each appointment or meeting.
• Takes minutes of meetings, accurately transcribes and circulates to appropriate recipients.
• Ensures all reporting and servicing deadlines are met in a timely fashion.
• Assists the Director of Sales in the preparation and submission of various reports according to corporate and resort guidelines.
• Promptly handles daily in-coming mail and internal correspondence.
• Answers and handles all incoming telephone calls for the department according to the resorts Standards & Procedures.
• Coordinates & organizes business travel arrangements for the department.
• Interacts with departments and resort staff in a professional and efficient manner to foster a good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two-way communication.
• Maintains strictest confidentiality at all times on all matters.
• Maintains a safe and secure working environment.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by the Director of Sales.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience
• Local market knowledge preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience managing to brand standards
• Able to collaborate effectively with other resort employees and managers to ensure teamwork
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
