JOB SUMMARY

The project engineer will ultimately be responsible for maintaining standards of excellence and delivering projects with the utmost attention to safety and quality, ensuring the project is completed efficiently and successfully. This includes scheduling, planning, forecasting, and managing technical activities in his responsibility area to ensure project accuracy, progress and quality as per requirement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Management

- Project Planning: Develop a detailed project plan that includes timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.

- Technical Support: Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.

- Quality Control: Ensure the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.

- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain regular project status reporting & accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders.

- Problem-solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and problems that arise during the project.

- Project Acceptance & Hand-over: Hand over the completed project to operation.

2. Financial Management

- Internal Process: Follow up, accelerate & ensure the PR/ PO process is completed in a timely manner.

- Project execution: Minimize & control the variation orders of the assigned project.

- Cost management: Control and monitor the progress of budget spending. Develop cash-flow plan of assigned projects.

3. People Management & Others

- Communication & Coordination: Maintain effective communication & coordinate with various teams including contractors, consultant, internal stakeholders & end-users to meet project goals.

- Technology Transfer: Ensure all technical as-built document are delivered & training provided to end users.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

*Required Competencies/Skills

- Functional Competencies:

• Able to dive deep into any technical area for understanding and improvement of project scope and execution.

• Positively obsessed with quality of design, execution and communications with internal and external stakeholders.

• High flexibility in handling various projects tasks simultaneously.

- Leadership Competencies:

• Demonstrates leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems.

• Able to prioritize tasks and duties to maintain progress in various areas, especially on critical path.

• Business acumen and ownership thinking.

• Able to communicate complex technical matters to non-technical stakeholders (also in English).

*Required Qualification:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Engineering / Projects, preferably in FMCG industry.

- Experience in managing at least 5 different capital / innovation projects with full 4 phases of project, preferably in mechanical or electrical area.

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

- At least one improvement / innovation idea in area of main competence, preferably in mechanical or electrical.
