1. The Director of HR reports directly to the General Manager, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Regional Senior Director of HR.
2. The core work activities include:
Managing the HR strategy, including executing engagement survey activities, championing talent management, translating business priorities into HR strategies, and leading succession planning.
Managing the staffing and recruitment process, including analyzing open positions, serving as an expert facilitator, and developing staffing strategies.
Managing the employee compensation strategy, including remaining knowledgeable about the competitive environment and leading the planning of the hourly employee total compensation strategy.
Managing staff development activities, including ensuring HR staff are properly trained and serving as a resource on employee relations.
3. The required management competencies cover areas like leadership, managing execution, building relationships, generating talent and organizational capability, and learning and applying professional expertise.
4. The job is classified as a "Blue Band" career level position.Education and Experience
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; 4 years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
