• To check the previous day night audit process is properly completed, ledgers are balanced, system date changed, reports are generated and distributed to designated associates, to investigate and report any discrepancies during the night audit process
• The revenue accountant is responsible for issuing reminders to ensure that the Night Audit report is thoroughly reviewed and approved daily. Additionally, they assist the Chief Accountant/Financial Director in reviewing reports, along with accompanying supporting documents, before the Financial Controller/Chief Accountant/Financial Director conducts their examination and approval
• To ensure that all ledgers in Opera (guest ledger, city ledger, deposit ledger, package ledger) is tallied daily in Sunsystems
• To check whether the factors of the credit card and city ledger receivable is complete, check whether all the discount and cost-free bills, void bills have been approved properly
• To prepare flash daily revenue report and submit before morning briefing (Room revenue, F&B revenu and Other operating department revenue)
• Ensure limited access permissions, allowing only restaurant managers the authority to cancel (Void and Rebate) checks. Reports on voided checks at the end of the day must be reviewed and approved by the Restaurant Department Director before submission to the revenue accountant
• To prepare daily reports on discounts, promotions, and complimentary items etc.., then submit them for approval of Management
• To assist in reporting hotel's revenue condition at the end of term, ensure timely complete and hand in the revenue report work
• Update all daily rebates in monthly rebates summary. Verify that all rebates processed are correct, authorized and have supporting documents, the filing
