As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining infrastructure systems, with a focus on automating deployments to ensure resilience and consistency across both development and production environments.

As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining infrastructure systems, with a focus on automating deployments to ensure resilience and consistency across both development and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop stable, secure, and well-structured infrastructure code, with monthly version upgrades, while consistently enhancing code quality and testing processes.
- Uplift on-prem virtualization and roll out cloud adoption in AWS.
- Maintain high availability of systems, perform diagnostics, and minimize impact during upgrades and implementations.
- Ensure systems meet security, stability, reliability, and monitoring standards.
- System administration, switch admin, router configuration, multi-home network.
- Manage key stakeholders, facilitate innovation, and improve engineering practices within the team
Must have:
- Experience in on-premise systems management including installing, configuring and maintaining bare metal and virtualized systems
- 5-7 years in Linux (Redhat/Centos) administration/deployment including automation, performance tuning and resource allocation (CPU/Memory/Disk), multi-homed networking.
- Scripting experience using Bash, Python as well as experience in using data serialization languages such as JSON and YAML
- Experience in CI/CD tools, pipelines and version control such as Gitlab
- You continually automate manual processes to drive efficiency and have working experience in tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Foreman.
- Exposure in public cloud environment/technologies including AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC , ELB / ALB , Docker
- Understanding of networking architecture and internet protocols
