We are looking for an experienced and user-focused Vehicle Feature Designer specializing in Body & Comfort features to lead the definition, evaluation, and continuous improvement of body-related functionalities (e.g., doors, lighting, seats, mirrors, windows, HMI comfort logic). This position acts as the business analyst for user-centric features and ensures cross-domain alignment across engineering, UX, and testing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Feature Definition – Body & Comfort Systems:
Define and manage specifications for body and comfort features, such as:

Smart entry & exit (keyless entry, passive entry/exit)
Power doors, windows, trunk, tailgate
Exterior/interior lighting logic
Mirror control (auto-fold, memory, defog)
Seat adjustment, memory seats, comfort positions
Welcome lighting/chimes, ambient lighting
Central locking, child lock, walk-away lock
Cabin personalization and comfort logic

Translate customer expectations, marketing input, and competitive intelligence into feature logic and use cases.
Benchmarking & UX Alignment:
Conduct benchmarking of comfort features and control logic against competitors.
Collaborate with UX/HMI teams to ensure features are intuitive, aligned with UI flows and physical control layout.
Requirement Engineering:
Define feature behavior via:

Functional requirement specifications (FRS)
State machine diagrams / signal interaction flows
CAN signal mapping and diagnostic requirements

Identify cross-functional dependencies and define boundary conditions with powertrain, HVAC, ADAS, infotainment domains.
Validation & UAT:
Support vehicle testing (bench, mule, prototype) to verify comfort feature behavior.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with internal users and customer clinics.
Collect structured feedback on usability, timing, intuitiveness, and user satisfaction.
Track and validate functional KPIs (e.g., window opening time, seat memory accuracy, welcome sequence timing, etc.)
Change Management & Issue Resolution:
Own feature change requests during development life cycle (CR handling).
Work with testing and SW teams to triage bugs and ensure compliance to spec.

Maintain feature traceability from requirements to test cases.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in vehicle feature design, preferably in the Body or Comfort domain.
Knowledge of vehicle architecture, CAN/LIN protocols, signal definitions, and EE system interfaces.
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Excel, Draw.io, requirement management systems (e.g., Polarion, DOORS).
Strong documentation, system thinking, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with body domain ECUs (e.g., BCM, CCU, Seat/Window/Mirror controllers).
Familiar with AUTOSAR signals and diagnostic implementation (e.g., DIDs, UDS routines).
Understanding of ISO 26262 or ASPICE processes is a plus.
Hands-on experience analyzing CAN logs (CANoe, CANalyzer, VehicleSpy).

Work Location:

In Hanoi: Symphony Building, Chu Huy Man street, Long Bien distict, Hanoi

Working hours: Monday to Friday, with alternating Saturdays, from 08:30 AM to 05:30 PM.
