In this role, you will be instrumental in Vehicle Institute, using your skills to support the Manager and ensure the delivery with quality and on time of all program. You will liaise with the PWT program team and provide technical guidance and sign-off. You will ensure engineering process are followed and robust (DFMEA, DCR, ECR, etc…).

Position Responsibilitie

• Working within the engineering research and development are and specifically across vehicle programs
• Strong focus on mid to long term business and product plans
• Working in a start-up environemnet at quick pace with quick turnaround and decisions
• Working in a team environment and possibly with external contactors and suppliers
• Leading and building a skilled technical team to support current and future Vinfast programs
• Manage technical deliverables, planning, reporting on progress and providing expert knowledge in the area of EV Powertrain systems
• Champion with the PWT program manager for the program deliverables to meet program requirement on time and with quality
• First point of contact for the program team for technical guidance, sign off
• Ensure processes, tools and methods are applied consistently across program; deployment of current or future corporate methodologies, process improvements and lessons learnt
• Provide the interface between PWT engineering and vehicle program
• Manage complexity and cost effectiveness across program
• Support engineering launch team and facilitate issue resolution
• Inspire and lead the team using VINFAST DNA behaviours
• Organize and prepare materials for regular cadence of agendas, minutes, decision records

Position Requirements

• 5+ years experience in automotive or related industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering).
• Demonstrated agility in operating within matrixed organizations and teams.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Powerpoint, Word, Excel).
• CATIA knowledge.
• Have experience in the Powertrain engineering development.
• Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to perform successfully in multi-national relationships.
• Experience in authoring timing plans, management of deliverables tracking, program status.
• Good problem solving skills in areas outside expertise.
• Excellent communication skills and able to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams from different areas of the company and with the key supplier.
• Demonstrate a high degree of resilience and ability to deal with high pressure situations using a logical data driven approach.
• Be accountable for delivery and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
