Job Title: Scientific Affairs Officer for lab oratory product

We are currently looking for an experienced Scientific Affairs Officer to be in charge of handling customer inquiries, explaining medical and scientific information to customers, as well as be involved in various science and regulatory issues that are vital to ours business, and work with other countries’ Scientific Affairs Officers on an as-needed basis. We are a health care company based in Japan with its products being sold in more than 80 countries all over the world. We are still in the stage of fast-moving growth, especially in Asia. That is why we has decided to launch a direct business in Vietnam and is now looking for a Scientific Affairs Officer in Hanoi, who can help us grow our business in Vietnam. The candidate will work to ensure that our products can be sold throughout Vietnam and increase our product appeal to current and prospective customers.

This is a Scientific Support Position for IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic) products at a global company specializing in medical devices. (This role is quite specialized and requires technical knowledge.)

Responsibilities:

• Handling customer inquiries and troubleshooting
• Providing medical and scientific information to customers
• Cultivate and establish strong collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders that advance the promotion and education of laboratory practices that improve test quality while ensuring a balanced perspective and current practices.
• Writing journal reviews and conducting product training for internal and external customers
• Participating in global internal Scientific Affairs meetings regularly
• Management of scientific events• Provide scientific, technical and clinical expertise to the business unit and other functions within the company to support activities of existing product offerings and identification of new products and their respective development.
• Handling regulatory issues for medical devices and reagents.
• Register products to MOH and update registration information
• Handling complaints pertaining to scientific issues

Benefits:

• Gross salary : ~ 40,000,000 VND /mouth (Remuneration is determined based on experience. Please let us know your desired salary at the time of application.)
• Benefits : Health, social, and unemployment insurance provided
• Working time ： 8:30～17:30 (Lunch break: 12:00-13:00)
• Weekends and holidays ：Sunday and Saturday, national holidays (as stipulated by Vietnamese government), company holidays ※There may be occasions need to work due to exhibitions or event about four times a year (compensatory leave will be provided on a weekdays)

Qualifications/Requirements：

• Bachelor’s degree in science or similar field
• English level of Fluent or above is a MUST for this position
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills across internal and external
• Minimum one years’ experiencein the diagnostics business(IVD industry)
• Able to operate MSOffice and conduct product presentations
• Able to work in a team, take initiative, have a can-do attitude, attention to detail, and good communication skills, as well as understand and adapt to other cultures
• Independent and creative problem solver.
• Customer-oriented, disciplined, patient, and responsible in performing their duties

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the marketing field ( market research, analyzing customer and competitor trends, creating and localizing marketing material, monitoring and maintaining existing marketing channels so that they are in compliance with local regulations and requirements, etc.)
• Willing to attend overseas product training
