A / General Job Scope

As the Head of Finance, you will serve as the strategic financial architect for our Business Division, playing an indispensable role in steering its robust growth and profitability. You will oversee all financial aspects, providing exceptional financial leadership, strategic insights, and robust control across the division's operations. This role demands not only strong analytical capabilities and a profound understanding of financial statements but also the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable strategies that optimize performance, manage costs, and uphold impeccable financial governance. Key Pillars Of Your Role

• Strategic Co-Piloting: Act as a trusted advisor to the Division General Manager and CFO, providing forward-thinking financial insights and recommendations that directly influence business objectives, market share expansion, and long-term profitability.
• Performance & Profitability Maximization: Drive the end-to-end management of the division's P&L. Spearhead advanced budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring meticulous reporting and insightful analysis of financial results to identify trends and capitalize on opportunities.
• Empowered Business Partnership: Forge strong collaborative relationships with Commercial, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams. Provide expert financial guidance to optimize resource allocation, rigorously evaluate new business opportunities, and support agile, data-driven decision-making.
• Unyielding Compliance & Control: Champion L'Oréal Group's internal control framework, guaranteeing that all financial operations within the division adhere to the highest standards of local and international regulatory compliance and internal policies.
  
  

B / Main Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Management & Reporting Excellence:
• Lead and refine all financial planning cycles, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and strategic long-range plans, ensuring precision and alignment with strategic goals.
• Oversee the timely, accurate, and comprehensive delivery of all financial reports, strictly adhering to Group norms, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements.
• Conduct deep-dive P&L analysis, proactively identifying key performance drivers, variances, and strategic opportunities for enhancement across all revenue and cost lines.
• Dynamic Business Partnering & Performance Optimization:
• Serve as the primary financial business partner, embedding financial expertise within operational decisions and strategic projects across all departments.
• Initiate and champion aggressive cost optimization programs, efficiency improvements, and profit maximization strategies across the division.
• Rigorously evaluate business performance against critical financial and operational KPIs, delivering actionable insights to enhance performance across pricing strategies, channel profitability, marketing ROI, and operational efficiencies.
• Insightful Data Analysis & Influential Storytelling:
• Masterfully translate complex financial data into clear, compelling, and concise narratives. Leverage storytelling to influence strategic decision-making among both financial and non-financial stakeholders, driving consensus and action.

E / Most Important Qualifications

• Proven Financial Leadership: At least 10-12 years of progressive experience in Business Finance or a similar strategic finance role, demonstrating a clear trajectory of increasing responsibility.
• Industry Expertise: Direct experience within the FMCG, Multinational Corporation (MNC), or Cosmetics Industry is highly preferred, with an understanding of complex market dynamics and consumer-driven business models.
• Cross-Functional Acumen: Demonstrated ability to effectively interact, partner, and influence across diverse functions including Commercial, Marketing, Customer Service, Corporate Accounting, and Supply Chain.
• Analytical Prowess: Exceptional aptitude for key figure analysis, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Results-Oriented Mindset: A proactive, resilient, and highly results-oriented individual with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding financial targets.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP systems) and expert-level Excel skills are mandatory.
• Organizational Excellence: Highly organized with superior prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Mastery: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
