The purpose of this role is to conceptualise and realise ideas through a comprehensive use of language and the written word. They have the ability to think in a holistic way about how an idea comes to life through all creative channels of a consumer experience. Develops language and copy in short form and long form to establish the tonality of ideas. They can act as mentor to junior members of the team and encourage learning.

Job Description:

Responsibilities

Creative planning & Execution management:
Develop integrated creative concepts and content based on creative briefs.
Developing creative strategy with Account Service and the Art Directors to communicate the sales message in a clear, dramatic manner
Regularly work with the Art Directors to toss ideas – contribute visual ideas, check how copy ideas can be dramatized visually, and write copy from visual ideas.
Deliver omni-channel copywriting, including presentations, manifestos, scripts, everything digital, and content writing.
Developing decks to present big ideas & creative works to clients using various techniques.
Oversee the production process of specific creative ideas for various applications, including print, TVC, digital, social, radio, and other relevant media.
Participate in and lead brainstorming sessions. Ideate, write, and execute original and iconic creative concepts in response to client briefs, objectives, or goals
Creative teams to develop innovative solutions, from broad concept development to implementation
Maintain an intense intellectual curiosity, learn about emerging media and technology, and keep our ideas up to date
Quality assurance and operations:
Review/check verbal aspects and all creative works to ensure they meet client cost/schedule/quality requirements (specifically, they can answer briefs and meet strategy) and give appropriate feedback to team members when necessary.
Check the copy and layout to ensure they support each other and agree on a strategy.
Contribution to new business development:
Confer with HoC/ACD on making ad proposals to potential clients when he/she deems that such proposals would benefit the clients.
Participate in activities to develop and acquire new business when the company requests.
Others:
Follow through on advertising performance, being receptive to and participating in pre and post-testing research, if any.
Keep up-to-date on clients’ marketing, products, consumers’ trends, competitors’ activities, and local culture so that effective and innovative advertising can be created.
Assume responsibility for any other duties or projects which may be given.

Qualifications

Knowledge & experiences

Minimum of 3 years working experience at a similar position in an advertising agency
Understanding of Vietnamese literature from Classic to Modern times, Vietnamese folklore, myth, and mythology
Good at using standard computer software of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Slides & Keynote

Skills/Abilities

Excellent writing & speaking skills in both Vietnamese and English
Creative, innovative, flexible, able to quickly come up with concepts/ ideas
Have the ability to understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be highly self-motivated and well-organized
Have the ability to see other people's points of view and take on board feedback.
Must have an eye for detail.
Hardworking, can work under high pressure to meet deadlines
Good teamwork player who can work independently and responsibly
Possesses a high level of reliability, integrity, and personal ethics
