Objective
The Head Bartender will focus on creating innovative, high-quality cocktails and supervising the bar team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role emphasizes creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to train and guide bartenders while adhering to the luxury standards of the bar. The Head Bartender will report directly to the Bar Manager.
Key responsibilities
1. Cocktail Creativity & Innovation:
• Develop unique, visually stunning, and flavorful cocktails that align with the bar’s luxury concept.
• Collaborate with the Bar Manager to ensure the cocktail menu pairs seamlessly with the overall beverage offerings, including wine, sake, and spirits.
• Experiment with ingredients and techniques to keep the menu fresh and trend-forward.
2. Quality Assurance:
• Maintain consistency in the quality, taste, and presentation of all beverages served.
• Oversee mise en place and ensure that ingredients and tools are prepared to deliver seamless service.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness at the bar station.
3. Team Supervision & Training:
• Guide and train bartenders in cocktail-making techniques, presentation, and luxury service etiquette.
• Provide constructive feedback to ensure team improvement and skill development.
• Foster a collaborative and creative atmosphere within the bar team.
4. Bar Setup & Support:
• Assist the Bar Manager in setting up bar stations for efficient operations during shifts.
• Ensure that stock levels of spirits, garnishes, and other ingredients are maintained.
• Conduct routine checks of bar tools and equipment to ensure functionality and upkeep.
5. Guest Engagement:
• Actively engage with guests to enhance their bar experience through storytelling and education about the cocktails and beverages served.
• Assist with special events or guest experiences that involve the bar team, such as cocktail tastings or workshops.
• Line report: Bar Manager
• Internal Relationship: all departments, Owner.
• External Relationship: Vendors, suppliers, and clientele.

1 Proven track record working in popular cocktail bars in Vietnam, with 2+ years of experience. 15%
2 Strong understanding of mixology techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredients. Excellent knowledge of spirits, liquors, and beverage trends. 10%
3 Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality business or Bartending in accredited school 5%
B Technical Skill 40%
1 Expertise in crafting cocktails, mocktails, and beverages with high precision. 15%
2 Familiarity with bar tools and techniques for crafting signature drinks. 15%
3 English Professional Proficiency 5%
4 Great proficiency in POS, inventory management systems. 5%
