DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
1. Review the operation of Security, to ensure that staff is available and able to deliver the quality and service required of customer satisfaction.
2. Identify training needs and to ensure departmental training plans are developed and implemented in accordance with company standards.
3. Reward superior performance to ensure subordinates are motivated and empowered to make spontaneous decisions.
4. Ensure departmental and interdepartmental communication in order that guest requests and needs are met.
5. Ensure Security Employees are familiar with in-house facilities and special promotions for the purpose of assisting guests.
6. Ensure through effective planning and organizing of systems, productivity, efficiency and consistent high level of safety and service.
7. Ensure through Control Checklists, training and monitoring guest feedback, attention to detail, individual guest needs are met and a maximum on safety is provided.
8. Ensure through continuously physically checking of all areas (minimum 2 rounds) and implementation of Standard Procedures the maximum on safety for guests / employees and the property is achieved.
9. Co-ordinate investigations and reports findings to Management
10. Ensure with Front Office and Police that all local / national law requirements are met as per degree.
11. Prepare a monthly report reviewing assessing improvements in standards, goals, manpower and costs.
12. Control Security expenses without reducing quality or service and by conducting cost awareness among all subordinates.
13. Ensure by supervision and constant checking that office procedures are carried out efficiently, particularly lost property, absenteeism, and inventories.
14. Ensure a monthly report is presented which outlines the loose, misuse, and any matter related to safety and security.
15. Ensure Hotel’s Fire, Health and Safety Procedures are implemented
16. Perform any other duties or responsibilities as required by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. At least 5 years as a Security Supervisor at a scalable four or five star hotel/ resort.
2. College diploma in any related discipline, experience with national defense/army preferred.
3. Leadership and management skills.
4. Solid experience with planning for emergencies, handling disturbances and investigating related security cases.
5. Abilities of taking initiative, leadership, problem solving, decision making, prioritizing, delegating, training and developing subordinates, producing results, (results-oriented) and goal setting.
6. Good command of English.
