- Manage, train, develop, and appraise team members to motivate an effective team to operate efficiently and safely.
- Study/develop new test methods/new projects (incl. instrument investment/working area expansion...) and cooperate with related team to expand lab capability to meet clients requirement
- Improve lab productivity and save operation cost.
- Lead supervisor to assign the tasks for leaders/technicians.
- Review results of complicated tests or the tests with abnormal observation before sending them to CS team to prepare reports for clients.
- Instruct supervisors/Leaders to develop new test methods/perform new projects.
- Approve and issue test methods, procedures;
- Control Lab systems in accordance with Quality systems, international standards and group procedures."
- Monitor and report laboratory performance and control laboratory KPI’s.
- Review the complaints/claims and/or cooperate all teams for investigation to find out the root cause to answer clients and have proper corective actions implemented; and monitor/evaluate corrective and preventive actions to ensure they are effective.
- Manage team working schedules to ensure manpower is working effectively.
- Maintain testing quality by suggesting the proficiency testing programs to be registered and participated.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Food Laboratory Managers.
