The General Accountant has an exciting, challenging and pivotal role in managing financial data, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and contributing to the overall financial health and integrity of the organization. This role will report to the Accounting Director and plays a crucial part in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations, providing accurate financial information for decision-making, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.

As a General Accountant, your mission includes but is not limited to:

Ensure all accounting activities of the company are recorded properly in compliance with US GAAP;
Contribute to and lead portions of month-end close processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations;
Produce monthly, quarterly, and yearly separate and consolidated financial statements;
Perform Accounts Payable and treasury functions as needed;
Handle fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses and tax matters;
Review and file all accounting and tax documents;
Support audit initiatives and work closely with external auditors and tax;
Partner with other departments to ensure proper accounting for transactions;
Contribute to the efficiency of the accounting team by participating in cross-training, sharing job responsibilities, and serving as position backup for other team members;
Develop and document business processes and accounting procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
Assist with system implementation projects and ad hoc requests

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance is required; ACCA preferred;
Strong technical accounting background and US GAAP knowledge are required (preferred working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition);
Proven 4-5 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in a global context or experience working in a startup, scale-up or tech company;
Strong understanding of accounting principles, international accounting standards, and best practices in global operations;
Proficiency in English is required;
Proficiency in using Excel is required, and experience with NetSuite is highly desirable;
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‐paced, professional environment;
Ability to work independently as well as on a team, with strong verbal, written and communication skills;
Leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams

Được thành lập từ năm 1976, DNP (Dong Nai Plastic JSC) được tổ chức theo mô hình công ty đầu tư (Investment Holding). CÔNG TY CỔ PHẦN DNP HOLDING gồm nhiều đơn vị thành viên, hoạt động trong lĩnh vực kinh doanh cốt lõi là nước sạch & môi trường, vật liệu xây dựng cho giai đoạn hoàn thiện công trình, đồ gia dụng cao cấp và bao bì.

Hiện DNP đang sở hữu nhiều công ty lớn đầu ngành như DNP Water, Nhựa Đồng Nai, DNP Hawaco, Tân Phú Việt Nam, CTCP CMC… với tổng tài sản lên tới 14.4217 tỷ đồng, vốn chủ sở hữu là 3.744 tỷ đồng, vốn điều lệ 1.091 tỷ đồng, và tổng doanh thu 3.402 tỷ đồng/năm (theo báo cáo tài chính tại ngày 30/09/2021).

Lịch sử thành lập

Năm 1976, DNP Holding tiền thân là Công ty Cổ phần Nhựa Đồng Nai, được thành lập với tư cách là một công ty đầu tư.
Năm 2004, công ty thực hiện cổ phần hóa với số vốn đăng ký ban đầu là 3 tỷ đồng.
Đến năm 2006, DNP Holding chính thức niêm yết trên Sở giao dịch chứng khoán Hà Nội (HNX). Sau nhiều lần thực hiện tăng vốn.
Năm 2022, vốn điều lệ của công ty ở mức 1.189 tỷ đồng, tăng gấp 396 lần số vốn điều lệ ban đầu.
Năm 2023, DNP Holding đặt mục tiêu doanh thu thuần hợp nhất dự kiến 8.432 tỷ đồng và lợi nhuận trước thuế 124 tỷ đồng.
