[HN2921] SEA Sourcing Manager – Small Home Appliances (Culinary Category)

The SEA Sourcing Manager will lead and implement strategic sourcing initiatives for small home appliances by identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers that meet technical, quality, and cost requirements. This role supports new product development, cost optimization, and ensures supplier compliance with global standards and company policies.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with the small home appliances category.
• Conduct market research and evaluate suppliers based on technical capability, quality systems, cost structure, and production capacity.
• Build and maintain preferred supplier lists and potential supplier databases.

• Collaborate with R&D and Engineering teams during New Product Development (NPD) to select suitable components and suppliers.
• Facilitate early supplier involvement and promote Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Provide technical and commercial support to R&D through effective supplier coordination.

• Manage supplier relationships from sample development to mass production, delivery, and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, strategic negotiations, and supplier localization.
• Analyze cost structures and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or performance.

• Ensure sourcing activities comply with company policies, international trade regulations, and sustainability standards.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in global or local sourcing/procurement of finished goods, preferably in small home appliances or consumer electronics.
• Strong understanding of product structures, manufacturing processes, and performance characteristics of small home appliances.
• Proven experience in supplier development, strategic negotiation, and cost analysis.
• Familiar with product development processes (NPD/NPI), project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in multinational companies, particularly in technical or engineering sourcing roles, is preferred.
• Background in strategic sourcing or global supplier development is a strong advantage.
• Language skills: Fluent English required; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
