Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Planning:
- Develop and execute HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives and promote a high-performance culture.
- Anticipate and address future HR needs and trends to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
- Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract qualified candidates and ensure a diverse talent pool.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new employees into the organization.
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and professional development plans.
- Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations initiatives, conflict resolution, and communication strategies.
- Implement programs to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Address employee concerns and grievances in a fair and timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable laws.
- Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and equity within the organization.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis of compensation and benefits practices to remain competitive in the market.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- HR Compliance and Risk Management:
- Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate HR-related risks and ensure a safe and inclusive work environment.
- Partner with legal counsel as needed to address complex employment law matters and mitigate legal risks.
- HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on HR metrics, trends, and accomplishments.
- Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of HR processes and practices.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification highly desirable.
- Proven experience (>10 years) in a senior HR leadership role and passionate about building new business.
- Deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategies that drive business results.
- Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
