ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Quality Engineer to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role combines expertise in manual and automated testing, technical acumen, and collaboration skills to maintain product excellence across the development lifecycle. As a full-stack QC Engineer, you will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to test and improve our systems, ensuring an exceptional user experience and alignment with business goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of product requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing for both frontend and backend systems.
• Create and maintain detailed reports on testing progress, defects, and outcomes.
• Review and refine test strategies to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and device compatibility for applications.

Collaboration and Delivery:

• Collaborate with BAs, developers, and product managers to understand requirements, provide input, and ensure alignment.
• Act as a quality advocate, delivering features that meet user needs and maintain high standards.
• Evaluate product readiness and release timelines based on test results and team discussions.

Leadership and Influence:

• Share quality-focused practices and promote a quality-first mindset within the team.
• Mentor team members on testing techniques and workflows to enhance overall quality.
• Ensure workflows and processes are followed consistently and improve them when necessary.

Continuous Monitoring and Improvement:

• Monitor product performance and user feedback in production environments to identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve testing processes.
• Drive initiatives to improve product quality, user satisfaction, and team productivity.

• Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputable university.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Tester or Quality Control, with significant exposure to manual testing.
• Technical Skills:
• Deep understanding of APIs/Web-services and familiarity with testing tools such as Postman, BrowserStack, and CURL.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices like TDD/BDD.
• Tools and Documentation:
• Proficient with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and mock-up tools (e.g., Figma, [protected info],..).
• Ability to write Software Development Requirement Documents and Functional Specifications.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent Problem-Solving skills and Critical Thinking.
• Outstanding Communication and Documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.

Preferred (but not required)

• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• Experience in the eCommerce industry.
• Experience with automation testing.
• Proficiency in English.
