Summary of Position: Develop and/or improve new or existing products by collaborating with a cross-functional team which includes Sales, Marketing, Production, Purchasing and Quality department.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Evaluate and recommend product improvements and engineering changes based on review of products both before and during production.

2) Combine knowledge of design, engineering and manufacturing processes to create function products.

3) Efficiently utilize CAD software such as Soid Works and AutoCAD to develop 3D models of products.

4) Create, maintain and manage product technical documentation and revisions on product drawings and databases.

5) Conduct final prototype preparations on new product samples, prior to Peer Design Mock-up Review.

6) Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing team to research and develop ideas and product structures for new products.

7) Manage overall product Technical Specification sheets.

8) Coordinates with Sales team to create the new Product Technical Specification sheet for product BOM and Cost calculation.

9) Coordinate with Factory team on the manufacturing process of the new products in the production line, and follows up on the Mock-Up completion date.

10) Conducts Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VA/VE) activities to reduce the product complexity and product cost.

11) Participates in Peer Design Mock-Up Review process.

12) Other tasks when required

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

1. Age: 25 - 35 years old

2. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; e.g. Industrial, Materials or closely related discipline.

3. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Product Development/Product Engineering

4. Proven experience using CAD software; SolidWorks and AutoCAD

5. Solid understanding of Process Maps, Statistical Tools, Root Cause Analysis etc.

6. Highly proficient in English.

7. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint
