We are seeking a highly experienced Venture Capital Investment Director to lead and manage the operations of our newly established Innovation & Technology Venture Fund in Vietnam. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the fund’s strategy, identifying high-potential startups, driving investment decisions, and building strong partnerships within the local and international innovation ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned investment professional with deep expertise in venture capital, technology markets, and startup ecosystems, combined with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Fund Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute the fund’s investment strategy, focusing on innovation and technology-driven ventures in Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asia region.
• Develop sectoral theses and investment roadmaps in priority areas (e.g., fintech, AI, healthtech, cleantech, digital platforms).
• Report regularly to the Board and investors on fund performance, portfolio health, and market trends.

Deal Sourcing & Evaluation

• Proactively source and build a pipeline of promising startups and growth-stage companies.
• Lead the due diligence process: market assessment, financial analysis, risk evaluation, and technology validation.
• Structure and negotiate investment terms, ensuring alignment with fund objectives and investor interests.

Portfolio Management & Value Creation

• Oversee portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and connecting them with resources, partnerships, and follow-on funding opportunities.
• Monitor performance metrics, governance, and compliance of invested companies.
• Act as a board member or observer in selected portfolio companies to drive growth and accountability.

Ecosystem Development & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong networks with entrepreneurs, incubators, accelerators, universities, and research institutes in Vietnam.
• Represent the fund in local and international events, enhancing visibility and credibility.
• Collaborate with government agencies, corporate partners, and institutional investors to foster a vibrant innovation ecosystem.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, corporate innovation, or investment banking, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of sourcing, evaluating, and managing successful investments in technology and innovation sectors.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal-structuring expertise.
• Deep understanding of Vietnam’s startup ecosystem and Southeast Asia’s technology landscape.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; proficiency in Vietnamese is a strong advantage.
