Our client is searching for a strong Chief Accountant who is able to manage all accounting responsibilites for the organisation in Vietnam.


Description

The key requirements of the role include, but are not limited to:

* Monthly Reporting (local and group reporting)
* Statutory Financial Reporting
* Taxation Reporting and Compliance
* Cash flow Monitoring and Reporting
* Banking and Foreign Exchange activities
* Fixed Asset Management
* Inventory Management
* Calculation cost of goods and sales prices
* Prepare standard monthly reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) comparing past, present and budgeted operations and explaining significant variations to management deadlines.

Accounting Activities :

* Manage the Month End Close off processes.
* Coordinate the annual audit activities.
* Monitor, act upon and report cash flow / banking activities
* Maintain Fixed Asset & Depreciation registers and conduct fixed asset stock takes on a periodic basis.
* Conduct and maintain the Capital Expenditure Approval process.
* Assists in the preparation of Annual Budgets (including Cash Flow Budget)
* Review expenses and conduct analysis of operating expenses and budget variances as required.
* Recommend process improvements and participate in process improvement projects as required.
* Inventory management - Monitor and maintain inventory costing and conduct regular stock-take.
* Prepare all required reports according to group standards.
* Responsible for communicating with banks or other finance companies to get offers for loans, leasing contracts or similar operations.
* Responsible to prepare and coordinate all necessary documents for audits from government or other institutions.
* Responsible to prepare and coordinate documents to get and keep company licenses, certificates…as well as to work with insurance companies.
* Monthly check of payroll and all related calculations and documents (internal and external)


Profile

* Living in Binh Duong or willing to move to Binh Duong by yourself.
* Have 2 to 3 years working in Chief Accountant position for foreign manufacturing company.
* Demonstrated experience in the preparation of statutory accounts, monthly management accounts, preparation of tax returns and payroll administration.
* Strong experience in Taxation Reporting, Statutory Reporting, Cash flow Reporting skills are essential and budgeting as well.
* Experience with computerized integrated manufacturing/accounting systems and information/data processing systems.
* Knowledge of international Accounting Standards or Accounting in international Groups is an advantage.
* Experience with the ERP system must be required.
