Six Senses Côn Đảo

As a Senior Member of Six Senses Con Dao (The Resort) Management Team, the incumbent will have daily interaction with various team members of the Resort, both senior and across all levels.

The incumbent will need to have the following criteria:

- Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals and compliance-oriented.

- Strong Work Ethic to direct, coach, and manage the Accounting & Finance Team.

- Be able to provide strategic, and financial planning and analysis to the Management Team and Resort Owner.

The incumbent will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, executing, and managing all financial aspects including but not limited to financial reporting and forecasting, cash flow, and Taxes.

Ability to handle multi-tasks simultaneously with a positive attitude, create plans, and manage up effectively to keep order and meet deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review and prepare all financial statements with strong knowledge and understanding of Vietnamese Financial Reporting requirements, Taxation, rules and regulations.

2. Ensures all month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reports and tax reports are filed accurately and timely.

3. Ensure and enforce a check and balance system on inventory, purchasing, cost accounting, and fixed assets.

4. Understand and experience inter-company transactions and consolidation.

5. Provide leadership and hands-on of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive, timely, and accurate Accounting and Financial Reporting, Financial Trends, Forecast, Consolidation, Budget, Business Plan, and full Financial Planning and Analysis.

6. Finance: Ensure the company’s financial health, analyze results, forecast, establish, and maintain banking relationships.

7. Ensure effective internal controls are in place.

8. Oversees and updates Company Policies and Procedures, including but not limited to Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Human Resources, IT, etc.

OTHERS

1. Ability to lead, supervise, and train team members.

2. Routine and effective communication with all team members and the Owner’s Representative.

3. Tax Audits, Year End Audits, VAT claims, and audits.

- 5 years minimum experience as Chief Accountant / Financial Controller in a large-scale corporation, 5 Star Resort, or Hotel.

- Exceptional financial, administrative, analytical and management skills.

- Strong rapport skills.

- Mature, understand the importance of confidentiality, and be able to keep confidential information confidential.

- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills and can demonstrate the ability to lead and develop other accounting staff.

OTHER SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

- Experienced with international accounting software, computer literate and highly proficient with spreadsheets, word processing programs, Microsoft Office.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

- Excellent command of English, speaking and writing (strong advantage).

- Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially in Vietnamese (highly required).

- Postgraduate degree in Business Management or Accounting, CPA or ACCA (advantage).
