This position is responsible for maximizing room revenue contribution through a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory and rate therein.
Revenue Management
Analyze and adapt to changing distribution models and booking trends.
Optimize resort and corporate pricing strategies through effective management of BAR levels, stay restrictions, and other tactics.
Maintain rates that uphold integrity and protect long-term customer relationships.
Collaborate with the Revenue Management Team to create and offer engaging rate packages through appropriate channels.
Monitor booking trends across all segments to adjust pricing and availability controls.
Complete accurate rooms and revenue forecasting.
Ensure proper system overrides and special event entries.
Maintain and analyze demand data, both historical and future.
Work with Sales & Marketing to strategically select business opportunities.
Track and analyze competitor pricing and yield strategies.
Participate in strategic planning, marketing, and budgeting processes.
Lead weekly Revenue Management Meetings and prepare necessary materials.
Prepares revenue updates as required
Team Management
• Interview, select and recruit direct reports
• Identify and develop team members with potential
• Conduct performance review with the team
• Constantly monitor team members' appearance, attitude and degree of professionalism
• Develop, conduct maintain all staff training programs for team members, focusing on their development needs, providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business
Other Responsibilities
• Be aware of the Resort fire & life safety/emergency procedures
• Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the ManagementKnowledge and Experience
• Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
• Prior experience in Revenue Management is an asset.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
• High degree of professionalism with sound human resources management and business acumen capabilities
