Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance;
To develop new vendors to reduce MRO purchasing cost;
Responsible for Order Placement Timing, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishment;
Involved in writing up purchasing contracts;
To ensure purchasing effectiveness in term of quality, quantity and cost for the assigned commodities
Works on various projects and teams to improve quality, productivity, cost, and safety.
Closely work with MRO planner and MRO purchasing supervisor and related departments to ensure JIT of MRO purchased items;
Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time;
Coordinate with MRO planner to build an appropriate inventory levels for certain MRO stock room;

Education
Required
Good English (4 skills)
College or Bachelor’s degree (Preferably Business/ Economics/ Technical)
Qualified in purchasing course is an advantage
Experience
From 2- year experience in buyer position for international companies
Knowledge of:
Able to handle international purchasing
Technical and equipment purchase.
Product and process knowledge
Understanding of production equipment and spare parts is advantages.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, summarize information, and draw valid conclusions.
Languages: Local language and Good English skills, both in verbal and written
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and, percentages.
Strong problem solving, analytic, negotiation, planning, project management and people skills are a must.
Preferable knowledge & interest in MRO materials, negotiate with customer and/or technical knowledge
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to solve practical problems with limited information.
