To ensure consistency of production running effectively and efficiently by providing the right support equipment (tooling, fixture) and optimal parameters.

Continuously carrying out improvement projects to reduce operation costs and enhance quality & productivity. Being a key player in WCO/ TPM and improvement activities to meet the Huhtamaki WCO roadmap quarterly/yearly.

To execute all activities on the production line toward “safely producing the high-quality products and complying with legal requirements”.

1/ Activity and Work planning

• Improve and develop the production process for effectiveness and search for consistency in the process

• Design and improve/develop equipment in the production process to increase effectiveness, quality, productivity, and safety for easy work, etc.

• Coordinate with other departments to analyze the root cause and provide timely solutions to solve the occurred issues.

• Training production employees about technical etc.

Result in :

Increase productivity and operation performance such as material loss, and cost out, …as per KPIs setting annually or project assignment.

2/ New product development

• Standardize the improvement projects to SOP and handover to Line Manager.

• Support R&D team to develop and prepare new tool /layout, and machine parameters subject to NPD projects (new product development, new or alternative raw materials, changes in the specification, other packaging lines as used in the past) And to deploy technical information about respective processes.

• Initiate investigations to close NCRs related to processes

Result in :

New product development is sustainable with systems and procedures aligned.

3/ Product Quality

• Ensure the quality of the product meets the standard and customer requirements.

• Performs Huhtamaki's Manufacturing Guidelines and Quality System.

• Identifies specific opportunities for product quality improvement.

• Liaisons with inter-departmental managers for the implementation of quality improvement projects.

Result in:

Waste reduction, quality improvement, and customer satisfaction.

4/ WCO - World Class Operation

• Play a critical role as a facilitator in deploying WCO/ TPM pillars & improvement activities.

• Stabilize, standardize, and optimize the processes to enhance the quality and productivity as well as reach to higher level of TPM.

• Collect, analyze, visualize, and interpret data as well as organize the Workshop/ Gemba walk to define the opportunities to improve continuously.

• Lead/coordinate with internal related customers to carry forward agreed activities/assigned projects; to increase productivity or any other objective that benefits the company

Result in:

To improve productivity & capacity; lower operating cost; improved equipment/machine lifespan and able to satisfy customer

5/ Report & Filling

• Periodical reports of performance required, if any.

Result in:

Ensures all reports are accurate and meet the timeline.

6/ Complementary Tasks

• Implement activities as documented in the Company’s Quality and Manual.

• Perform other/additional tasks that the direct Manager may assign from time to time.

Result in:

Take an active part in the BRC, 5S, HACCP, GMP, and ISO system build-up process.
