1. Purchase Management:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for construction materials and services aligned with project timelines and budgets.

• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.

• Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality standards and contractual agreements.

• Collaborate with the project management team to forecast material requirements and plan purchases accordingly.

2. International Sourcing and Import/Export:

• Identify and develop reliable overseas suppliers for project requirements.

• Manage the full lifecycle of import/export activities, including logistics, documentation, and customs clearance.

• Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations.

• Optimize shipping and freight solutions to minimize costs while maintaining efficiency.

3. Cost and Budget Control:

• Monitor procurement costs and work within established budgets.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with vendors.

• Prepare cost analysis and reports for senior management.

4. Process Optimization and SOP Implementation:

• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for procurement and sourcing activities.

• Implement tools and systems to streamline purchasing processes and improve efficiency.

5. Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor the procurement team to achieve organizational objectives.

• Conduct training sessions to enhance team members’ skills in procurement and sourcing.

6. Risk Management:

• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Ensure alternative suppliers are available for critical materials to avoid project delays

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in construction project procurement or international sourcing.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build strategic partnerships with vendors.

• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and services procurement.

• Familiarity with international trade regulations and import/export procedures.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
