Job Description

As Finance Director - Strategic Planning, you will:

Lead the organization-wide budgeting and forecasting process, including macroeconomic analysis and competitive benchmarking.
Consolidate financial plans and budgets across the parent entity, production subsidiaries, and trading units.
Drive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) improvements: streamlining data structures, enhancing reporting flows, and fostering automation.
Develop and implement budgeting frameworks and planning guidance for over 10 commercial and manufacturing entities.
Ensure cross-functional budget integration, alignment with strategic goals, and coordination across departments.
Define pricing strategies for upstream (manufacturing) and downstream (sales/distribution) operations to ensure profitability.
Lead the development of annual and long-term forecasts to support business continuity and contingency planning.
Track financial execution, analyze gaps between forecast and actuals, and provide corrective recommendations.
Deliver monthly performance reports and customized management dashboards for leadership decision-making.
Analyze business results and provide actionable insights to improve financial and operational performance.
Act as a financial advisor to business unit heads, aligning strategic plans with financial outcomes.
Support data-driven business development initiatives and project evaluations.
Monitor non-core investment portfolios and recommend sound financial decisions.
Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to support investor relations activities.
Provide monthly P&L support and financial reviews to subsidiary finance teams, adding insight and clarity on performance issues.
Mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team, including involvement in hiring, coaching, and performance management.

The Successful Applicant

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Background in financial planning & analysis, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, or large-scale trading environments.
Advanced English communication skills (both verbal and written).
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP and business intelligence systems is a plus.
Proven background in financial strategy development, business partnering, and scenario planning.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and perform in high-pressure environments.
Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
