Ensure the effective coordination and operation of teaching and learning activities at APU Elementary School.
1. Academic Operation and Teacher Support
- Make class schedules and arrange teachers for each grade or English Language Development (ELD) class.
- Examine test papers done by teachers and prepare for the exams.
- Manage the Students Information System including scores, schedules, courses, students’ and teachers’ information, and issue academic report cards and certificates.
- Hold extra-curricular activities, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and graduation ceremonies.
- Provide administrative support to teaching staff.
- Assist faculty by answering questions and providing information, locating desired information and materials, assisting in test preparation, and preparing and/or proofreading letters and other materials.
2. Executive Assistant in charge of APU Elementary School
- Schedule meetings and appointments between teachers/school board and parents.
- Organize the office layout and order stationery and equipment.
- Maintain office conditions and arrange necessary repairs.
- Partner with HR to check attendance of teachers and staff.
- Coordinate with the IT department on all office equipment.
- Manage office budgets to hold Elementary School events.
- Provide general support to visitors.
- Assist new hires.
- Plan in-house or off-site activities such as parties, celebrations, and conferences.
3. Others
- Receive comments from parents and find solutions for each issue.
- Do translation and interpretation for the Board of Directors, teachers, and parents.
- Coordinator/Proctor for SAT exams.
4. Other Duties
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Board of Directors.
