We are looking for a Data & Analytics Manager responsible for 40% leadership and 60% hands-on senior analytics work. This role involves translating business problems into analytical projects, leading data-driven initiatives, developing a roadmap to enhance TAPTAP’s analytics capabilities, conduct in-depth customer analyses, apply advanced analytics techniques, and create insightful visualizations to drive marketing, sales, and operations improvements.

His/her responsibilities: 

*Leadership (~40% workload):

• Translate complex business problems into analytical questions and projects.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of TAPTAP’s customer base to identify potential use cases/opportunities for marketing, sales, and operations improvement (e.g., up-/cross-selling, retention, promotion optimization, fraud identification).
• Lead data and analytics projects for TAPTAP and its partner focusing on customer behavior/segmentation, purchase spending levels, offer effectiveness, product-level analysis, and customer experience, prioritizing customer retention, up-selling, and cross-selling. 
• Develop a roadmap to enhance TAPTAP’s analytics capabilities, outlining future use cases and the required technical and human resources.
• Build and grow the Data & Analytics team to support TAPTAP’s analytics ambitions.
• Work with the Technology Department to align the data infrastructure build-up plan with analytics use case requirements. 

* Senior Data & Analytics (~60% workload): 

• Apply advanced analytics techniques (e.g., significance testing, multiple regression, AB testing, experimental design) to generate insights and support analysis. 
• Create reports, charts, tables, and visualizations to effectively communicate analytical insights and recommended actions to leadership and business partners. 
• Identify business pain points, analyze them, prepare data, and develop statistical models/machine learning algorithms/AI techniques. 
• Track and optimize the performance of implemented and operationalized models. 
• Provide advanced analytics focused on forecasting future events and behaviors, enabling the business to conduct what-if analysis. 
• Design and manage data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data quality and integration 

You will have the following skills and experience:  

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data and analytics, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role. 
• Proven track record of leading data-driven projects and initiatives. 
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Superset, Metabase). 
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data mining, and data modeling techniques. 
• Experience with multiple DBMS (e.g., ClickHouse, MSSQL, Spark, Hadoop) is a plus. 
• Hands-on expertise in business communication and presentation.
