Job Overview

The Auto Parking System Engineer will be responsible for leading the full scope of the

system development to launch per V-model, from gathering stakeholder requirements to

developing system specifications, system design, performance tuning, evaluation and

final release sign-off. The engineer will collaborate closely with testing and validation

teams, applying system engineering principles to ensure product launch success

meeting program timing and resource and quality expectation. A deep understanding of

auto parking systems and solid experience in automotive systems engineering, vehicle

development, and validation, is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

System Development:
Lead the development of auto parking systems per V-model approach.
Define OEM requirements, specifications and target performance based on end customer needs and industry standards.
Design system architecture and perform system decomposition.
Develop and maintain system with a supplier
Design and performance verification with a team
System Integration and validation:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, architecture and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless integration.
Collaborate with validation to ensure performance and reliability.
Co-assessment for final validation for launch sign off.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including system requirements, design specifications, test plans, and test reports.
Present project status and results to management and stakeholders.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members.

Requirements

Experience:
Proven experience in auto parking design and testing, preferably within the automotive or technology-related industries, for a minimum of 5 years.
Knowledge of FUSA (ISO 26262) and SOTIF are strong advantages.
Hands-on experience with vehicle testing tools (e.g., CANAPE, CANanalyser) and automotive systems integration.
Cross vehicle module experience such as EE, Powertrain, Chassis, Connectivity, etc., is expected.
Good experience in ADAS HMI and human-machine interaction.
Possessing hands-on experience with various auto parking systems and a solid understanding of current market trends in auto parking technology.
Having relevant SOP experience in launching Auto-parking systems with major OEMs or Tier 1.
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of automotive safety standards and regulations is a strong advantage.
Experience with vehicle communication protocols such as LIN, CAN, Ethernet.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Code Beamer, JIRA).
Experience with vehicle setup, CAN logging, driving test.
Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Ability to analyze user feedback and system data to drive design improvements.
Education :Bachelor's degree in engineering related fields, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred
