We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Engineer – ADAS Components Architecture to drive the technical strategy, design, and integration of advanced ADAS domain controllers, cameras and sensing components for the development of L2/L2+, and L2++ systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the hardware, software, diagnostic, and interface architecture for ADAS ECUs, cameras (FCAM, SVM, DMS, …) and sensors (Lidar, Radar, USS) . You are also required to take responsibility for integrating ADAS ECU into vehicle EE architectures. Vehicle EE architecture knowhow and experience is a strong plus.

This position requires deep hands-on expertise in SoCs/MCUs, camera modules, SerDes technologies, in-vehicle networks, and diagnostic protocols. You will work closely with Tier1/Tier2 suppliers, internal system teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure robust architecture, optimized cost, and high-quality design.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end architecture of ADAS Components (HW, SW, Diagnostic, interfaces)
• Develop system and component specifications (SOC, MCU, power, timing, security, memory, thermal, etc.)
• Collaborate with component engineers to ensure optimal selection of SoCs, MCUs, image sensors, radars, ultrasonic modules, SerDes, and interface components.
• Ensure component-level architecture meets system-level requirements for performance, cost, reliability, safety, and scalability
• Work closely with EE Architecture team to align component-level architecture with overall ADAS system architecture
• Ensure alignment between component owners and system integrators regarding DTC mapping, diagnostic coverage, health monitoring, and firmware updates
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of ODX files, diagnostic specifications, and integration documentation for ADAS components
• Support collaboration with Tier1 and Tier2 suppliers on design choices, component roadmaps, and integration validation.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong understanding of ECU design
• Deep understanding of sensor technologies: cameras, radar, USS, LiDAR
• Strong expertise in SoC/MCU architecture, SerDes technologies, and sensor interfaces
• Knowledge of high-performance ADAS SoCs (e.g., TI TDA4x family, NVIDIA Xavier/Orin, Renesas, Mobileye, Qualcomm SA8/SA9)
• Familiarity with ASIL-rated MCUs for radar, USS, and LiDAR (e.g., Infineon Aurix, NXP S32K/S32G, Renesas RH850)
• Solid grounding in SerDes (FPD-Link, GMSL), MIPI CSI-2, DSI and other high-speed interfaces
• Hands-on experience with diagnostics protocols: UDS, ODX, DTC management, SOME/IP, DoIP, etc.
• Knowledge of in-vehicle networks: CAN, CAN FD, CAN HS, Automotive Ethernet
• Proven experience, leading component-level architecture and working with multi-sensor systems
• Experience with ASIL (B/C/D) design components
• Understanding of BSW and middleware architecture
