The Role

Technical Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance activities including preventive and corrective maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumping and Fire protection system on the SGS campus to ensure all buildings systems are compliance with regulation, sustainability and efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

1. Oversee that corrective, preventative maintenance activities of heating, ventilating and air conditioning system (HVAC) are appropriately performed in a safe manner to meet the operations’ requirements of RMIT VN.
2. Ensure that corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance activities of sewage treatment plant (STP) are appropriately performed to meet standard requirements from governmental authorities for water supply and water treatment.
3. Ensure that corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance activities of medium voltage and low voltage system are appropriately performed in a safe manner to meet the operations’ requirements of RMIT VN.
4. Ensure that the program of building management system (BMS) meets the operations’ requirements.
5. Assist with the completion of preventive and predictive maintenance procedures and KPIs.
6. Ensure that maintenance activities of the fire alarm and fire-fighting system are regularly performed following local authority requirement.
7. Monitor & record utilities consumption to optimize energy efficiency.
8. Supervise adds/moves and changes work related to mechanical, electrical and Sewage treatment plant in coordination with internal stakeholders and external suppliers where required
9. Coordinate the preparation and availability of pare parts, materials and consumables to support maintenance activities.
10. Promote and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
11. Maintain comprehensive records including system O&M, system specification, drawings and history of assets and maintenance purpose.
12. Other work that may be required as directed by the line Manager.
