Core Purpose of the Job:
Organize the provision of administrative supportto the stores for Vietnam to resolve day to day issues, including customercomplaints and ensure smooth and uninterrupted store operations.
To deliver the agreed Sales Target for adistrict of stores within Vietnam, whilst maintaining the Company Image &Standards within the district
To build and implement an operationsframework for Vietnam and provide clear and strong leadership for the newlycreated teams in implementing current and new working practices andmethodologies that enhances the business performance.
Areas of Responsibility:
1. Delivery of the Sales Budget
Achieve or exceed the sales objective in theBusiness Plan through periodic brand performance reviews and taking practicaland appropriate actions.
Taking into consideration Trading Calendar, buildorganisation, training, merchandising, Advertising in compliance with companystandards to ensure the desired results are achieved.
2. People Management.
Own the manpower planning and management of storesand its staff to achieve work environment which supports and improves store andteam performance.
Build in reward & recognition (non-financial)to keep the employee morale high. Develop store staff to provide a customerservice exceeding customer expectation. To become "The Best" sales team.
Work with the local manager to determine staffingrequirements for the departments; interviewing, hiring and managing performance.
3. Budget Management
Ensure theeffectiveness and improvement of the stores operating cost through monitoringof changes in expenditures and discrepancies and through communication on the efficient use of resources.
4. District Operations Management
Ensure the store hygiene, housekeeping and goodapplication of marketing material are maintained in line with company standardsand to develop the capability of each store team to support all operationalfunctions of the stores.
Organize the resolution of any administrativeissues faced by an operational store (e.g. maintenance, equipment malfunction,etc.) in order to resolve the problem timely.
Organize resolution of customer / employeecomplaints reported, either immediately or soon thereafter, upon checkinginternally for its resolution in accord with company policy and procedures.
5. Visual Merchandising
Manage, organiseand implement visual merchandising standards in line with the company policiesto ensure guidelines and standards are met.
6. Loss Prevention
Ensure that the Loss Prevention policies, system& procedures are implemented in all stores and that the discrepancies instock inventory are investigated in a timely manner to minimise the risk ofinternal and external loss of store merchandise and revenues.
mplement the inventory process & contingencyaction plans to prevent shrinkage.
Assess business operations and seek to manage allareas of risk in relation to company policy and procedure to ensure that thestores property and data are protected.
7. Cash Management.
To define cashmanagement requirements in each store and establish strong disciplines toprotect company cash assets.
8. Policy andProcedures
Review of allcurrent internal processes and policy relating to operations support anddevelop and enhance operational policies and procedures for Loss Prevention,Store Operations, Inventory, New Stores Opening and Cash Audit functions acrossall countries.
9. Store Projects
Organise the opening,modification, refurbishment or closure of stores in accordance with the Company Development plans and standards.
10. Supplier Partnership.
Develop andstrengthen the consignment and supplier relationships to establish long term,sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships.
11. Market Intelligence.
Keep abreast of the latest trend in the market with respect to the Product Trends and Brand standards.
