1.Familiarizes self with all HR Policies and procedures.

2. Receives and acts on all Personnel Requisitions as instructed by the Human Resources director

3. Listens to staff, acknowledge and record their grievances and take appropriate action to solve them.

4. Counsels and advice staff with problems

5.Prepares Monthly Recreation and Entertainment Programmes for the Associates

6. Organises the activities for Associates of the Month and Banyan Tree Root Superstar

7.With the help of the Human Resources Team and the Welfare Committee, organize games, tournaments, sports events, and social activities, indoor and outdoor activities for the staff.

8. Motivate the staff to participate in the various recreation activities

9. Ensure the safekeeping and maintenance of all recreational equipment

10. Visit regularly (at least 4 times a week) the staff accommodations and observe their housing and general living conditions and recommend improvements if necessary

11. Assists with the smooth operation of the hotel cafeteria

12. Assists in making sure that Associates are satisfied with their Accommodation and Meals

13. Assists in ensuring that all Associate facilities are kept clean and tidy

14. Is a member of the Executive Welfare Committee

15. Performs other relevant duties/tasks as may be assigned by Management
