About Transactions Services

The Transactions Services team in PwC is the leading advisory firm in Vietnam providing advice to international and local clients from corporate, private equity to financial investors. We assist clients to unlock and maximize deal value throughout the deal process from pre-deal evaluation, due diligence to post-deal services.

As an Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to provide financial due diligence, vendor assistance, negotiation support and deal structuring for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions within and outside Malaysia for both corporate and private equity clients.

Key responsibilities:
You will play a critical role in the deals team to deliver exceptional high-quality work in M&A transactions:

• Collect data from various sources and perform routine transactional procedures to check the data quality and prepare standard data sets which will be used during the deal engagement process;
• Analyze and present financial information, with a focus on key accounts of historical financial position;
• Assist other team members to carry out complex analysis on key performance drivers, underlying EBITDA, working capital requirements and net (financial) debt;
• Interview the company’s management team to unlock insights on non-financial risks and opportunities specific to the business and relevant to consider in the Transaction; and
• Assist in the preparation of high quality due diligence reports highlighting key deal issues and underlying business drivers.
