Duties and Responsibilities

Six Senses Vision & Values

 Fully understand and embrace Six Senses company vision and values and its application in all tasks associated with the host’s duty.

 Adhere to all Six Senses brand standards ensuring successful communication across all levels of the operation.

Specific

 Communicate between, organizer, supervisor, guide, and confidant to all hosts within the team.

 Provide accurate information about available activities at the resort, gym usage, equipment usage rules and regulations.

 Give exceptional service to go beyond the expectations of all guests.

 Present and introduce the activities compendium and or activity schedule to guests, suggesting suitable activities that provide for a personalized experience and answering questions regarding activities.

 Effectively communicate with guests – verbally and through body language - to respond to any additional requests and to determine when an activity has been completed.

 Take and receive comments and feedback, while at the same time be able to give clear, concise constructive feedback.

 The checking and cleaning of all equipment used during any activity or recreational event.

 Report any damage or excessive wear for proper replacement.

 Liaise with other departments to ensure that experience operations run smoothly and that bookings are taken correctly, adhered to, and billed correctly.

 Ensure guests are aware of all recreational services and activities available

 Ensure an adequate supply of towels and water are available to guest

 Report for duty on time and in appropriate uniform.

 Collect beach towels from housekeeping as required.

 Blow or wash or sweep the terrace and surrounding areas.

 Rake and clean beach area by lifeguard hut

 Maintain a proper set up of beach umbrellas and chairs

 Ensure all equipment is checked for damages.

 Walk the beach and pool area periodically to inquire if our guest would require any of the water sports equipment.

 Check the swim area buoys are in place.

 Record the use of all the equipment used by the guest on a daily basis

 Maintain the cleanliness of all the water sports equipment.

 At the end of the day ensure all water sports equipment is returned or collected from the beach and pool area.

 Attend all department meetings and scheduled training when rostered.

General

 Contribute to the morale and team spirit of the resort by maintaining effective relationships with your colleagues.

 Follow all systems and procedures as laid down in the standard operating manual.

 Follow all the tasks as directed by standard operating procedures and by the management team.

 Arrive on time in full uniform in accordance with the company grooming and hygiene guidelines.

 Complete any other duty assigned by other hosts at the property.

- Management and analytical skills

- Fluent communication skills in English;

- Fluent communication skills in Vietnamese;

- High sense of responsibility;

- Able to work under pressure and required to remember many details;

- Always be ready to ask questions, continue to gather new knowledge with a positive attitude.
