We are now seeking a 3D Fashion Designer to uphold our standards for excellence and drive customer satisfaction through your technical expertise, attention to detail, and exceptional ownership. You will report directly to the Product Leader and work closely with our product development team.
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate relevant experience as a 3D fashion designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your proficiency in software such as Clo3D, Marvelous Designer, VStitcher, or other similar 3D garment simulation tools. Additionally, you should possess a deep understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and pattern making, along with a keen eye for detail and an ability to translate 2D designs into high-quality 3D models.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
3D Apparel Design Creation (Bra Product Focused)
Create high-quality 3D models of bras and other apparel, ensuring designs are realistic in fabric behavior and fit. Ensure they are aesthetically pleasing and meticulously detailed to meet technical specifications.
Apply strong understanding of garment construction, including fabric properties, draping techniques, and pattern making to ensure the quality standards of output.
Develop 3D animations to effectively showcase product features and design details, and create dynamic presentations for stakeholders.
Participate in design review meetings to provide insights on 3D design techniques, suggest improvements, and address feedback to implement necessary changes.
Collaboration & Communication
Manage multiple design projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
Collaborate with the product development team to conceptualize innovative bra designs, translate concepts into detailed 3D models, and ensure design feasibility.
Work with the production team to translate 3D designs into physical products and provide insights during sampling.
Innovation & Improvement
Implement new 3D design techniques, technologies, and materials to enhance innovation.
Seek feedback to improve design workflows and propose process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Stay updated with industry advancements and integrate best practices to maintain cutting-edge standards.Required
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
At least 2 years of proven experience as a 3D Fashion Designer, with a robust portfolio showcasing expertise in clothing design, particularly in 3D modeling and simulation.
In-depth knowledge of 3D garment simulation software like Clo3D, VStitcher, or Marvelous Designer.
Good use of other 3D creation tools like ZBrush, Maya, Substance Painter. Arnold, Daz Studio, etc.
Excellent visualization skills, with a keen eye for detail, color coordination, and style trends.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills & ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing design requirements.
Strong English communication skills.
Preferred
Specialized knowledge of bra products, including design principles, fit, and functionality.
