JOB SUMMARY:
- Manage all sales activities and events in line with the annual sales and marketing plan in order to achieve/exceed budget in forecasted room revenue, occupancy and RevPAR
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- With DOSM plan sales strategy and action plan to achieve budget
- Sell all facets of the property and cross sell other group properties
- Sell to new, existing and prospective clients and business accounts considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business
- Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls
- Build profile within local market place through attendance at various events and develop contacts with business generators: corporate accounts, travel agents and tour operators, airlines, Government Departments and other producers
- Entertain clients when required
- Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections
- Travel when required to promote the hotel and develop potential business
- Interface with operations on a timely basis
- Monitor competitors activities, collect and analyze market intelligence
- Assist in the evaluation of sales and marketing activities, analyse sales mix and likely impact on budget targets
- Report as required on sales activities and successes, attend regular meetings
- Work with DOSM in the preparation and management of the Department’s budget
- Perform other duties as assigned
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
- Hotel employees
- Interact with guests and individuals outside the hotel including, but not limited to, current and potential clients, owning company representatives, competitors and other members of the local community
Yêu cầu công việc
- At least 2 years In Hotel 4 or 5 starts (mandantory)
- Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration or Sales & Marketing
- Demonstrated selling skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English to interact with guests and clients
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of PMS preferred
