* General purpose of the position:
- Be the Translator and Interpreter between FVH Staffs and Japanese patients for any matter (admissions, consultations, insurance, etc…)
* Assist Japanese patient during their visit at FV
- Welcome and guild new Japanese patient
- Help them to fill registration form
- Guild them to use the patient card and advice them to book appointment before coming
- Assist Japanese patient during their visit at FVH
- Support FVH information for Japanese patients
- Escort patient to go to the right department for consultation
- Escort patient for doing the test that prescript by doctor
- Escort patient for buying the medicine if any
* Translation/ interpretation
- Translate between doctor and patients and vice versa:
- Translate what patients said about her/ his disease
- Translate all information about the diagnosis/ treatment given by doctor
- Interpreter all information (Admission procedure, insurance, pre- op, discharge, re-consultation, medication…) provided by FVH staffs to Japanese patients
- Translate all notice or information when required
* Phone duty
- Responsible for handling a duty phone
- Responsible for interpreting between FVH staffs and Japanese patients when needed (especially during the night and the weekend)
* Others task
- Report
- Make weekly report of translating and interpreting activities
- Undertake other tasks as may be required from time to time by Patient Services Manager
- Work with Marketing department to check the brochures, advertisements, which were translated into Japanese language
