Install, configure, and upgrade software applications on servers such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc. Manage and secure networks, configure firewalls (iptables, firewall), VPNs (OpenVPN, Palo Alto). Regularly backup and restore data using tools like rsync, tar, Duplicity, Veeam Backup. Deploy and manage virtualization systems using VMware vSphere. Manage and allocate system resources (SSD hard drives, ECC RAM, Xeon CPUs) to meet project requirements. Optimize system performance using tools like htop, atop, sar, and ensure uptime of 99.9%.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a System Admin, managing Linux and Windows Server systems. Deep understanding of Linux operating systems (CentOS, Ubuntu), system structure, package management, shell commands. Proficient in computer networking, network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP), security, firewalls. Proficient in shell script programming (bash, python) and at least one automation tool (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack). Familiarity with storage systems (SAN, NAS) and backup, disaster recovery solutions.
