RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning & Production Control:

Interface with Engineers, Customer Service, Purchasing and Manufacturing team to ensure rapid response to customer requirement.
Conduct efficiently weekly/ monthly production planning meeting.
Processes, procedures, and policies are created and implemented that will enable to meet scheduled commitments to our customers.
Leadership is provided to manage the production control and planning process in the most cost- efficient manner.
Review trend on time deliveries, misses and analysis reasons to work with related department for improvement/CAR.
Potential problems are identified and communicated that could affect process or product quality.

Inventory Management:

Processes and procedures are created and implemented that will enable to manage inventory, increase inventory turns, and reduce excess builds and scrap to ensure lowest possible cost.
Lead team to make initiatives and have action to achieve inventory target.
Review weekly and monthly reports for: shipping requirements, pull- ins/push- outs requirements and component part.

ERP, software application & improvement:

Study to generate various planning reports to support planning job, make work more efficiently with less manual work.
Lead and support improvement projects.

Leadership:

Ensure a learning environment is in place and your team is trained and developed to consistently achieve your organization’s expectations in both the short and long terms.
Ensure the spirit and intent of all employment laws and regulations of the company and local HR policies and procedures are understood and complied with in your area.
Ensure your team is staffed, motivated, inspired, engaged and empowered to deliver a high and sustainable performance level in an ever- changing environment at a cost level the organization can sustain and reflects market realities. Ensure you have the right people in the right jobs, by consistently using proper interview and selection techniques and methodologies throughout your organization.
Ensure the Performance Management Process is fully operating with meaningful stretch goals for all employees in your organization, that feedback is on- going and focused on development and done with 100% On Time Delivery.
Ensure a free flow of two- way information for your organization to work effectively and communication channels are active and open.

Others:

Other tasks assigned by Line Manager
Responsible for timely and consistent communication with department teams.
Documentation and communication of suggestions for continuous improvement and cost reduction is provided.
Adapts readily to changes in work caused by new requirements and/or situations.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field, Specialization in Supply Chain, Logistics is strongly preferred.
Experience with ERP software systems.
Innovative, capable of training, and developing employees to use ERP in planning and inventory control.
8+ years of working experience in production planning in a light- industry manufacturing company with 3+ years of managerial/leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate projects and achieve results through others.
